I just wanted to update my pregnancy.  I had a dr.'s appointment on Tuesday of this week.  The dr. couldn't find the baby's heartbeat. He searched for at least 15 minutes.  He didn't seem too concerned.  He said let's just get an ultrasound and take the guess work out of it.  So, I went in and had an ultrasound.  There was the baby motionless.  My heart sank.  There was no sign of a heartbeat.  The dr. tried to nudge the baby to move and tried desperatly to find it's heartbeat.  For at least 20 minutes.  He said he just couldn't tell for sure.  He sent me to the hospital and same thing there.  No heartbeat and no movement.  I was supposed to 14 weeks and they said the baby died at about 12 weeks.   Yesterday I went in for a DNC.  My family is sad and miss the little one we never got to meet.
