Pro-Life Speaker Geri Urrutia Saturday, August 23, at 7pm Holy Innocents Church (20th Street and Pasadena) 425 East 20th Street Long Beach, CA 90806
Geri Urrutia directs the pro-life organization, Shield of Roses. For over 20 years, she has been on the front lines in defending women and their babies from abortion. No one walks away from this presentation unchanged. All are welcome.
FOUR-THOUSAND AMERICAN SOLIDERS have died since the beginning of the war in Iraq. FOUR-THOUSAND LITTLE BOYS AND LITTLE GIRLS are murdered IN ONE SINGLE DAY in a war here at home. What war? The war in the womb. The war against the unborn.
We are in an election year in which crucial decisions will be made about the future of our nation. Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta once said: "Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want. This is why the greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion."
Why is there so much violence in our neighborhoods and among nations? Ask the saint and she will tell you: abortion. It is the "greatest destroyer of love and peace."
With the November election fewer than 100 days away, voters are rightfully concerned about many issues. But the issue that trumps all others is the relentless murder of innocent children in the womb by abortion. How you vote on election day will determine whether the war against the unborn will continue unabated or will end. Undoubtedly, the next President of the United States will be in a position to nominate new justices to the Supreme Court. Given that opportunity, both of the major presidential candidates have made it clear what kind of justices they would appoint. It is no exaggeration to say that depending on who the next President will be, the blood of tens of millions more unborn children will continue to flow or the bloodshed will come to an end. That is how absolutely pivotal is this upcoming election.
Please help spread the word and invite your family, friends, and all the people you know who might be interested! Thank you and God bless!
